With its very large yellow kernels, Hickory King is an exceptional roasting corn also used for grits, cornmeal, and tortillas.
Plants can reach 12 feet with each Stalk Producing 2 Ears.
Because the kernel skins are easily removed by soaking, it is a preferred variety for hominy.
Husks are tighter than most varieties and offer excellent pest protection.
