Hickory King White Corn (Zea mays) 1/4 lb approx 250 seeds

With its very large white  kernels, Hickory King is an exceptional roasting corn also used for grits, cornmeal, and tortillas. 

A white dent corn

Plants can reach 12 feet with each Stalk Producing 2 Ears.

Because the kernel skins are easily removed by soaking, it is a preferred variety for hominy.

Husks are tighter than most varieties and offer excellent pest protection.

Can be used for roasting or frying if gathered when ears are small

Not  a sweet corn

  • Germination: 7-10 days
  • Maturity: 110-115 days
  • Direct sow 1-2” deep in full sun 1-2 weeks after last frost date when soil temperature reaches 60°F+.
  • Space plants 12” apart in rows 30-36” apart.
  • Zones 3-11
