Onions grow best in fertile soil that is well drained.
Always plant in an area where onions can grow in full sunlight. Plant bulbs 3" apart in a row and only deep enough so that the top is barely covered. When leaves have withered, dig up onions and allow to dry in a well-ventilated area for a few days.
Preserve your onions in a cool, dry place.
Very good for cooking, can store well for 2-3 months
